I spy with my little eye…something in the sea!
What do whales, sea birds and dolphins have in common? They all live in and around the waters we sail!
That’s right, the Cabot Strait is home to some rich and unique marine life that can be seen at various times throughout the summer season. And we would like to help you discover some of the majestic creatures that live in this region of Canada.
On June 27th, we will be launching our “Be on the Lookout” program. This program is designed to provide our passengers with the opportunity to learn about some of the animals they may see during their crossing. A series of animated digital screens on board and in our terminals will illustrate some neat “did you know” facts about these animals.
For those that want to get a closer view, you can sign out a pair of binoculars from Reception on deck 7. We recommend heading to the sun deck to explore – it’s the perfect place to spot some of our marine friends.
Travelling with young detectives? Be sure to pick up a scavenger hunt contest from Reception once on board. Solve all the clues and return the completed form for your chance to win a prize. We’ll be making a draw on each day crossing.
And don’t forget, we are always looking to share your photos from your crossing. Check out our photo props and pose for some pictures onboard.
Check us out on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and share some of your photos.
We look forward to seeing you this summer.
