Marine Atlantic is proud to be a sponsor of the 2015 Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase (PBIS) being held in Placentia on September 23-24. Sponsored by the Placentia and Area Chamber of Commerce, the PBIS highlights the many positive aspects of Placentia Bay with the goal of facilitating industrial development in the region.
As an active industrial partner with our seasonal ferry service operating out of Argentia, Marine Atlantic recognizes the importance of working with our community and business partners to strengthen our operations, with a focus on safety, reliability and customer service.
At this year’s event, Marine Atlantic’s Vice President of Customer Experience, Don Barnes, will be a guest speaker at the September 24 morning session and will provide an overview of the Corporation’s Argentia service, as well as an update on the success of this year’s Argentia trial discount campaign.
With the many upgrades and investments made at the Argentia terminal property over the past five years, Marine Atlantic is committed to a service that is popular with our customers during the summer months. Through events such as PBIS, we look forward to the continued work and cooperation with the local community and our business partners as we all work to grow business opportunities in the Placentia Bay region.
