On each of our vessels, we offer a number of different amenities and many of our customers have even described their experience with us as similar to a cruise! With entertainment and great food in a comfortable setting, you can get to your destination in style with Marine Atlantic.
Food
No matter which vessel you are travelling on, there are plenty of dining options to choose from. If you are onboard the Blue Puttees or Highlanders and are in the mood for a quick bite, check out the Barista Café on Deck 7. Our unique spin on the hot dog is not to be missed! For sit-down table service, head to the Met Restaurant, where you can try our very popular Thai chicken. Roasted in a sweet chili sauce and garnished with sesame seeds, this dish is served with seasoned vegetables and your choice of side.
While travelling on the Atlantic Vision, our buffet service offers lots of options that will satisfy even the pickiest eater. Or for a more formal dining experience, the Flowers Dining Room is sure to please your palate. One of our personal favorites from the Flowers menu is the baked salmon, which is encrusted with a dried fruit mix and glazed in a light teriyaki sauce. Served with a mix of fresh vegetables and your choice of side, the dish is finished off with a fresh cucumber linguini.
Fun
Perhaps one of the most enjoyable parts of travelling with us is the break from behind the wheel. Explore the vessel with your family and visit the tourism information kiosk, or start your souvenir shopping early in our onboard gift shop. For the kids and teenagers, our vessels have internet kiosks and a children’s play area. And for the ‘big kids’, we have a comfortable lounge/bar area on each of our vessels. On the Atlantic Vision, you can even enjoy live entertainment during the summer months.
Relaxation
Whether you are just with us from Port aux Basques to North Sydney, or you’re taking the longer Argentia route, we have lots of amenities onboard to help make your voyage a comfortable one. With 2-berth, 4-berth, deluxe (Atlantic Vision only), and accessible cabins available, you are certain to find an option that is right for you. But be sure to book early, as cabins often sell out in the summer.
On the Blue Puttees and Highlanders, we offer the option of reserving a reclining leather seat. A public seating area with reclining seats is also available on all of our vessels. Stretch out, relax, and enjoy the legroom! Although our comfy seats and cabins are sure to help you unwind, we think the most relaxing part of a journey with us is the knowledge that everything is taken care of for you.
